OUR MISSION
Ensure all moms and babies in America, especially those with the greatest need, have the best start in life.

6.9 MILLION WOMEN
are living in communities with no or limited access to maternity care. One in eight babies are born in these areas.
36% OF COUNTIES
in the U.S. are designated as maternity care deserts and 2.2 million women of childbearing age live there.
5% OF COUNTIES
have a worse designation in 2022 than in 2020.
Better starts for all moms and babies
At Enfa, our mission is to support the best start in life, which is why we've partnered with March of Dimes to shed light on factors impacting preterm birth rates and maternal risks and death.
Over the next three years, we will continue to develop sustainable programs that improve the lives of pregnant women across the country by increasing access to quality healthcare for pregnant women and new moms and decreasing preterm birth.
We will engage moms, health care professionals and policy makers with industry-leading research and educational resources.
Together, Enfa and March of Dimes will fight for the health of all moms and babies to ensure Better Starts For All.
