Ensure all moms and babies in America, especially those with the greatest need, have the best start in life.
MORE THAN 5 MILLION WOMEN LIVE IN MATERNITY CARE DESERTS
— counties that have no hospital offering obstetric care and no OB providers.
MORE THAN 380,000 BABIES
are born preterm in the U.S. each year.
35 PERCENT OF U.S. COUNTIES
lack access to maternity care.
Better starts for all moms and babies
At Enfa, our mission is to support the best start in life, which is why we've partnered with March of Dimes to shed light on factors impacting preterm birth rates and maternal risks and death.
Over the next 3 years, we aim to develop sustainable programs that improve the lives of pregnant women across the country by increasing access to quality health care for pregnant women and new moms and decreasing preterm birth.
We will engage moms, health care professionals and policy makers with industry-leading research and educational resources.
Together, Enfa and March of Dimes will fight for the health of all moms and babies to ensure Better Starts For All.Learn More
